The year is coming to an end and there are many thing that our 6th grade students need to remember and finish before it is over. Many of us are beginning to run out of school supplies which is causing us to mooch off of our classmates. Please remember that it is not your classmates responsibility to provide you with classroom materials and that you are responsible for yourself.
6th grade recognition is scheduled for 2:00 May 25th. For Recognigion we ask that the students dress nicely. The girls should wear either a dress or a skirt and the boys are asked to wear khakis pants and a collared shirt. However it is not necessary for you to purchase brand new clothes for the occasion. Directly after the ceremony there will be a reception in the multi-purpouse room where cake and punch will be served.
Another quick note Mrs. Bowen is still putting together the final arrangements for the medieval feast. If you happen to be available to help out or be willing to donate to the feast that would be wonderful. Please let Mrs. Bowen know by sending her an email or by sending a letter to school with your student. Any and all help would be appreciated!
